Description

The Korinitta Cream Piping Bag is a disposable piping bag designed for professional bakeries and kitchens. It comes in a box of 72 and, thanks to its Rough Touch non-slip surface, reduces slippage when working with greasy hands. It is used for all applications involving whipped cream, pastry cream, mascarpone filling, ganache, and purees.

What is the wholesale price of a piping bag?

The price shown on the page is for a single box of 72; special prices apply based on quantity for purchases by the case or pallet. Bakeries, cafes, hotels, and catering businesses can request current pricing and contract supply offers via the quote form or WhatsApp. You can browse our entire range of pastry supplies in the Bakery & Pastry category or in our interactive catalog.

What is a pastry bag used for?

A piping bag is used to transfer cream onto a plate or onto a cake in a controlled and consistent manner. When serving with a spoon, each portion turns out differently; using a piping bag ensures both consistent portion sizes and visual uniformity.

  • Pastry Shop: cake decorating, cupcake frosting, éclairs, and profiterole filling
  • Café: dessert platter, hot chocolate, and coffee with whipped cream
  • Restaurant: Plate composition with purée, mousse, and sauce
  • Catering: high-volume standard portioning

Disposable bag or washable bag?

In a professional kitchen, decisions are often based not on price but on hygiene and labor costs. The unit cost of a washable bag is low, but it must be washed, dried, and inspected after each use; if cream-based product residue remains in the seams, it poses a microbiological risk.

For menus that list allergens (fillings containing nuts, milk, or gluten), single-use bags become practically mandatory—using the same bag for different fillings leads to cross-contamination.

What is the purpose of a non-slip (Rough Touch) surface?

The most common problem with piping bags is that the bag slips in the palm of your hand when your hands get greasy. A slipping bag both disrupts the pressure and causes the piping line to wobble. The textured outer surface reduces this slippage, so the pressure remains steady and the decoration comes out cleaner.

This feature really makes a difference, especially during lengthy decorating projects and in kitchens where gloves are worn; gloves significantly increase the risk of slipping in a bag with a flat surface.

How do you fill a piping bag?

Filling the bag correctly prevents it from bursting and the cream from spilling over the top. Here’s what to do:

  1. Cut the end of the bag so that the adapter or the squeezing tip fits through— don’t cut too much, or the pattern will be ruined if the tip wobbles
  2. Fold the top of the bag outward and slip it over the rim of a glass or measuring cup
  3. Fill the container no more than two-thirds full with cream—any more than that will spill out
  4. Unfold the folded part, squeeze out the air, and fold the top over to close it
  5. Apply pressure not just from the palm or the fingertips, but from the entire palm; use your other hand to guide the movement.

If the cream is warm, the bag will soften and slip; use the cream at refrigerator temperature. To prepare whipped cream at the correct temperature, see the “Whipping” section on our Tikveşli Cream 1 L page.

Why do bags burst? How can this be prevented?

There are three reasons: overfilling, coarse-grained fillings (chopped nuts, large chocolate chunks), and excessive pressure. For coarse-grained fillings, increasing the tip diameter usually solves the problem.

Another common mistake is squeezing the piping bag in a fist—this applies localized pressure to the seam. Hold the piping bag with your palm, spreading it out. Also, use a spatula to soften frozen or very hard whipped cream before putting it into the piping bag.

What creams should it be used with?

The piping bag works regardless of the type of frosting; what matters is the consistencyof the frosting. Frosting that is too soft won’t hold its shape, while frosting that is too stiff puts too much strain on the bag.

ProductTypeBehavior in the bag
Tikveşli Cream 1 LDairy, 35%Holds its shape well after whipping; should be prepared daily
Puratos ChantypakPlant-based, sweetenedHigh shelf life; the design remains intact for a long time
Prima Classic CreamPlant-based, 35%Stable for whipping and freezing applications
Kaanlar Mascarpone 400 GFresh cheeseIdeal for fillings; it becomes grainy if over-whipped

How long does a box of 72 last?

Consumption depends more on the number of different types of cream than on the number of decorations made each day. In a bakery that uses only one type of cream, one bag can last half a day; a kitchen that uses three different fillings goes through three bags during the same shift.

A rough estimate: In a business that uses an average of 3 bags per day, a 72-pack will last about 24 days; in a business that uses 6 bags per day, it will last about 12 days. You can set your ordering schedule based on these figures.

What about hygiene and food safety?

The true value of a disposable bag lies not in its cost but in its traceable hygiene. The cleanliness of a reusable bag cannot be verified; a disposable bag, by definition, is clean. This distinction is important for businesses that handle allergens, undergo inspections, or offer takeout services.

After using the bag, cut it open and discard it; do not store a half-full bag in the refrigerator. Refer to the manufacturer’s information on the packaging for the declaration of food contact suitability.

How should it be stored?

Store the box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Moisture can cause the bags to stick together. Keep the opened box closed and place it in the kitchen away from greasy surfaces.
